Our adventure begins with a visit to the village of Siti Fadma, a settlement that dates back to the 17th and 18th centuries. Here, you can immerse yourself in the local culture, explore the traditional Berber houses crafted from mud, and witness the unique way of life in this charming community.
As we journey through the mountains and the scenic Ourika Valley, take in the breathtaking natural beauty that surrounds you. The landscape is a feast for the eyes, with lush greenery, flowing rivers, and stunning vistas at every turn.
A highlight of this excursion is a visit to a cascading waterfall, guided by a knowledgeable local guide (2€ per person for the guide’s services). Spend approximately 2 hours at the waterfall, taking in its beauty and enjoying the refreshing ambiance.
After your waterfall adventure, savor a delectable meal at one of the Berber restaurants nestled along the riverbank. Delight your taste buds with the flavors of a fresh Berber Tagine, featuring tender chicken and an array of flavorful vegetables.
Before heading back, we’ll visit one of the Amazigh Associations dedicated to the production of Argan Oil, where you can learn about this valuable Moroccan resource and its traditional extraction methods.
For this excursion, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes to fully enjoy the exploration, and don’t forget your camera to capture the stunning landscapes and cultural moments that await.
